What do you use to do screen captures of what your doing on the computer?
 

I would like to find something easy and cheap to record my voice and show what
I doing/using on my computer.

You know, like those youtube videos where someone is showing you how to use some software etc...

I find Camstudio works pretty well.

With a mac you can use quicktime

Downloaded and just finished wasting 3 seconds clicking on the video of my first screen
shot trying to go some where.

They have a free version which works pretty well (http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html) I can't remember if you can record voice at the same time with it.

on a side note, why the hell doesn't this come standard? lol

It sucks.

After trying to make a real video it fucks up all the time.
Error : can't copy/rename audio file
And sometimes it doesn't even record a playable video.

Yeah I had the same problem with camstudio, it sounds like the files won't open if they are over 2 gigs and that happens pretty fast with the default settings. I'm using screenflow on the Mac right now to do some wordpress tutorials for contractors, but that wasn't cheap either...

Faststone ..works a treat and is only about $20 after the free trial
