I-5 bridge in Seattle collapses - history repeats itself
MOUNT VERNON, Wash. (AP) ? An Interstate 5 bridge over a river north of Seattle collapsed Thursday evening, dumping several vehicles into the water as authorities investigated the cause of the collapse that cut off the state's main north-south thruway and sent three people to the hospital.
Click here for more from Yahoo News Another major bridge in the same region collapsed back in the 1940. Was it the same builder/engineering firm? |
wow where did your washed up ass come from
|
It was built by the Nalem Bridge Company.
|
We're too busy fixing bridges in the middle east right now to worry about this one.
|
that video is blurry
|
Mt Vernon is not Seattle
The other bridge was not "in the same region" or even close And they have zero relation to each other in terms of construction and why they failed But I gotta say, your news reporting is many times better than your photography. |
Dude you forgot the watermark

I read somewhere this morning that this bridge was considered "obsolete" by some federal transportation board in 2000 and 2010. Any government official who did not try to replace this bridge should be drawn and quartered...

History repeats itself? Not the same bridge, not the same location, not the same reason, not the same age, not the same anything. Nothing is repeating itself in your comparison.
There have been over 75 bridge collapses since 1990. Maybe this is what you meant. |
thats crazy! i sure do miss seattle!
|
Lucky nobody was killed
