Illegal Corporate Espionage (How much money can I get from this lawsuit?)

Some years ago, I posted about a suspected illegal corporate espionage situation, and unfortunately did not have any solid proof or anyone willing to admit to any wrongdoing.

Any who, years later and after some sleuthing, I was able to uncover much of their tracks (I have a feeling there?s a lot more to be discovered yet) and I am seriously AMAZED at the lengths they went through to get info about me.

Of course, when I confronted them about this they labelled me crazy, paranoid etc.

I now have solid proof.

This has been going on for over five years now, non stop.

I have not retained an attorney yet.

Any thoughts from the GFY legal department?

Thanks

Depends on what they did - you aren't giving us nearly enough information.

If they broke into your office after hours and stole confidential documents or illegally recorded your private conversations, yes. If they asked your old GF how big your penis is, no.

I would rather not disclose specifics publicly.

Pretty much bang on actually.

Get a lawyer right away. Resist the temptation to discuss it on a public forum.

You said years ago, check your states statute of limitation laws first.

Started over five years ago, still going on to this date.

A first solid plan of action is to go to a porn forum and as a bunch of degenerates "how much can i sue them for". Really, you've done everything right so far.... so you can't miss...

Sorry, misunderstood. Decide what you want out of this then get a good attorney and see what he says.

What he said, it is a reasonable idea to keep pending legal issues as private as possible. Don't stir anything up that you aren't expecting.

under NO circumstances discuss it here. retain legal counsel and contact WWW.FBI.GOV as soon as possible.

good luck taking these motherfuckers down!

Last time I heard something like this the person was on a bunch of drugs.

Can you go over the current drugs you are on?

company headquarters are in Canada but they do have offices in the U.S.

Edit: I had a facebook status up to solicit info. I had a ton of people message me with info. Some were obviously "in on it" pretending to not know what I was talking about, and giving me B.S. info in attempt to throw me off track, but as well managed to get solid info and leads which I followed up on which proved to be fruitful.

The sheer number of people involved in this is staggering. It is truly unbelievable. I don't know how they thought this could never be leaked. They had me covered on just about all angles.

Funny thing though, I had a source tell me I should talk to my ex gf about this. Still waiting on more details.

Wouldn't put it past them but *not sure if serious* /Fry meme lol.

I'm completely insane :eyecrazy

Why do you think they're spying on me in the first place? :winkwink:

shake 05-25-2013 10:59 PM

You might be able to set some good traps for them, IE talk about supersecretwebpage.com (that actually has no traffic to it) when they are listening in, and record the visits to the page. Talk to a "business partner" and tell them you are going to leave a million in cash in a bag in a secret place for them, then video who shows up to grab it etc. Maybe I watch too many movies... probably too late now that it's been posted publicly though.

A source informed me they "used a website" to find out my whereabouts at one point. Apparently I fell for it.

I'm guessing it was a similar setup. I can't for the life of me remember though.

I had this friend named Matt who was convinced people were spying on him, watching him...even complained about helicopters following him. Turns out he was smoking meth for months.

Anyways - good luck :thumbsup

lmao thanks. :thumbsup

I'm not "convinced". I have solid proof. Just trying to figure out how much it's worth.

To add insult to injury, A few years back, after I got fired, I got a little "revenge" I guess you could say. I basically just kept conferencing agents together, nobody knew wtf was going on, they were just like oh'p, lines got crossed, most times they would just hang up, but sometimes they would fool around etc. Well anyways, I was able to extract information not only from their conversations, but on a few occasions pretended to be an agent from within the building and pretended to do "practice calls" for fun, I asked for customer info, they gave it to me (we're talking socials, account numbers, names etc.).

With the info received I was able to obtain other info on these clients through other means, and was able to create and access online banking accounts. I have screenshots to boot.

I know this alone would be enough to make them pay up, but is there any way I can go about making them aware of this without getting myself in trouble? This would save me a lot of time and legal fees.

Scat in the Hat 06-01-2013 05:40 AM

These guys went as far as to even track down HOOKERS I slept with to get info on me. Hilarious.

Scat in the Hat 06-01-2013 05:42 AM

double post...

Doctors and lawyers hang out together alot. They play golf together and stuff. I would ask my doctor to recommend a privacy lawyer and explain the situation.

Why does GFY seem to draw all of the crazies out of the woodwork on a daily basis.

Dude, believe me I was just as blown away. I got a Facebook message from one of my girls in Panama out of nowhere, told me that some business guys were trying to find out about me, and also said that my friends are not really my friends. Roughly translated from Spanish.
