Mailchimp template editing

Just logged in there for the first time for a client.
They need customized templates/edited some existing ones there.

Damian (you're most likely the first in here;-)), any tips or tricks to do so? I know you kinda breathe mailchimp;-)

Don't really understand the question?

You can either upload your own HTML files, or customise the existing ones using their simple WYSIWYG editor.

Is there a specific issue you're having?

(PS Sorry for not being first in here!)

Yeah, you're slacking;-)

Imagine my client being a 50 year old housewife with zero webknowledge, who sends newsletters for her business. She just states what template there must be, with editable parts, but also removable blocks like the standard mailchimp templates allow you to.

I've never used it before, i now see you can 'program' your own templates, which i am afraid is what i will have to do. A simple 1-3-2-1-1 column template in static html won't cut it for them.

The template they need is not one that is default, so we'd have to create it. I thought it was simple, but apparantly for this case you will have to learn how to program in there. If so, no big deal, i will just have to digg into it.

Cheers.

I see.

There are LOADS of templates in there, maybe there is one that is close to what your client would like?

Otherwise yes, you'll need to make her a template.

Yeah one is close, but not 100%. I just need two more rows with single columns in there, but ut seems undoable without making your own template.

Oh well...

Thanks for the heads up.
