Indeed. I am trying to look and search eBay and I will try to see what the community can offer and some prices to. It is very nice to have an option though.

It's a bit more than that. I think he was attempting a hackintosh type setup to no avail.

I thought someone was sending you a Mac to use for this project?

I will post this again because you could have just spent $250 and been done with this weeks ago :winkwink:

You might also be trying to install a version of OSX on a machine that is unsupported.

This might be the solution if that's what you're doing:

Hi candyflip,

I hope you can help me on this, here is my main board specs http://www.msi.com/product/mb/H61M-P31--G3-.html

My processor is Intel Core i3 - 3220
RAM is 8GB
GT 430 nVidia Graphics card
500GB Hitachi HTA HDT

I hope there are some tutorials to do this, I have tried to a lot from You Tube and elsewhere and I have my Mac OS Snow Leopard from Apple store I bought it also.

In regards to building hackintosh I called newegg and they told me that they don't ship to PH (Where I based here since 2012)

So that might be my solutions since this project is only a test for 6 months. :)

From a quick search it seems that people have successfully built them with these board/processor combo.

I will dig and see what I can pull up.

Have you tried with a more recent version of OSX. I think you've got 10.6 and 10.8 is current.

It's $30 from the App Store. Download and make a USB installer. I'd start there first.
