Cosmopolitan or Aria?
I'm taking my wife to vegas for her birthday and generally we just pick a random hotel in a flight+hotel package and not worry too much about it but this time I want to get a nicer hotel and these two seem to be some nice newer hotels on the strip
Any exp at either of them? Tips? |
I like Cosmopolitan but its very very busy all the time - Have fun!

I've only stayed at Aria, but it was great. Even if you don't stay there, check out the Spanish restaurant which is just inside to the right a bit from the front entrance.

Cosmopolitan. Great restaurants and Marquee. Vegas gets busy in October (especially weekends) as its NFL/CF season. Plus late Sept/October is our best weather (IMO).
Treat the wife to a 1 bedroom suite w/balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Fantastic rooms and service. :thumbsup |
Cosmo for sure. Great spot to stay! Try Wicked Spoon too which is one of their restaurants. :thumbsup

I go to the Cosmo once a month, like it the best along with Wynn/Encore.
Aria is very nice, however, it has a kind of claustrophobic/bat cave feel to the casino floor I dont think is so great. Both have fantastic restaurants. Blue Ribbon in the Cosmo may be the best sushi in town. Enjoy! |
You cant go wrong with either. Have dinner at Maestros while you are there.

One of the girls I shoot that lives out of town swears by (not AT, LOL!) Cosmopolitan.
It's a very nice place! |
cosmo. both jaleo and scarpetta are great restaurants there. that multi-level bar with all the hanging crystal is a pretty cool place to grab a drink as well.
