Time to quit smoking

Been reading some old threads about e-cigarettes, just been waiting for a good moment to become motivated.

There's loads of different setups and brands but I am probably going for the Ego-t.

Any wise suggestions and tips ?

Another thing, where do you buy it ? and do they ship to europe ? If they dont is there a way to bypass it ?

I want to quit smoking now!

I have one. The thing is for you to choose good e Liquid that would suit your taste.
Some of them taste like shit ( e shit) and basically that made me quit the e cigarette for awhile.

The good stuff with this is that you're investing in the e cigarette one and then you just buy the e-liquid (which appears to be more cheap than buying ordinary pack of cigarettes)

I got Ego-t with big tank. But to be honest it looks and feels better when smoking a real cigar ( not cigarette) than sucking on that thing and being afraid that the e-liquid will flow out of the tank. If you're riding a chopper and you stop somewhere, which is more cool ? To light a smooth cuban cigar, or to pull out that e-straw and suck like a swimmer through it ? Just my :2 cents:

And btw that won't make you quit the cigarettes. According to the recent research they say the e-cigarettes does more harm than ordinary cigarettes.
/ Probably research paid by tobacco companies/.

Cheers,
M.

I have been smoke free for about 6 months - After about 30 years and up to 40 a day...

I never thought I could do it - It was easy with an e-cig - Incredible really.....

This is the site I buy from - http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/default.asp - Its UK only, but has lots of info if you look around - If you are in the UK and use it, here is a 10% discount code - ECR69 - I have been using the code for 6 months so I assume it is permanent...

try hypnosis, working perfect

We have a new chain of Vape stores here in town. They let you come in and try anything before you buy.

3 stores and from what I've seen, they have been consistently busy.

I'd check and see if there's something like that near you.

I own an E-cig store, have hundreds of vapors to go with it and all that shit. Vapor King is one of my main brands along with 3-4 others. It is a real store and I don't even have a site made for it yet. Been so busy. This stuff sells like mad

Good look to everyone trying to quit smoking :thumbsup

Chosen 06-02-2013 08:35 AM

BTW I never started :)

gransonik 06-02-2013 08:53 AM

I quit smoking a week ago and i'm doing great, don't miss it at all. Quitting weed was harder and i still dream about smoking weed from time to time... that stuff is more addicting (or habbit-forming) than many might think.

Chantix worked wonders for me

Very cool, in the US? I was considering doing the same but I read the FDA is pushing to make the juice illegal, have you heard about that?

Renting a booth at the local scumbag flea market does not qualify as owning your own store. :2 cents:

CurrentlySober 06-03-2013 12:49 AM

I'll quit smoking when I get off the meth... :(

miahan 06-03-2013 12:52 AM

instead of smoking go and grab some menthol candy. that would help :)

CurrentlySober 06-03-2013 12:53 AM

Seriously though, a good way to quit, is to keep a pack in your home, and then when you want one, go to get it, take it out, and say... 'I'll have this later' and put it back...

OR

Take it out the pack, and get your lighter, then 'Smoke' it... WITHOUT LIGHTING IT. Treat it like it IS lit. Use an ashtray, and after a few mins, put the cig and ashtray away.

It wont work EVERY time, but sometimes the ritual of going through the motions, is enough to trick the mind into being happy.

After all, 'The Mind Speaks - The Body Listens' so if you can trick your mind into 'thinking' you have had a cigarette, the body listens, and is placated for a while, before requesting another.

Hope that simple idea is of help :)

a relative smoked a pack or 2 a day for 60 FUCKING YEARS and has no lung problems. He is a stud at 85. I think genetics play a huge role in the negative health effects of smoking. :2 cents:

Cool - I am going back to 3 packs a day then - CamBoss said it was OK and I will look like a stud.....

Trying some richy disposables at the moment, got a plan for them too.
EU has started the slide with France banning them in the same places that cigarettes are smoked.

Spunky 06-03-2013 05:16 PM

Been about 8 months cigarette free, all with the aid of a e-cig,slowly cutting down on the nic

Barry-xlovecam 06-03-2013 07:41 PM

Nicotine use (e-cigarettes or tobacco) can cause cardiovascular, stroke and / or circulatory problems and possible death.

Tobacco smoke may cause lung cancer and certain death the slow and painful way.

Pick your poison ... Or, just decide to stop ...

I stopped 3 years ago ( 2 packs a day for 40 years) for medical reasons and a little too late. But in 3 years my last heart perfusion test showed the coronary circulation in my heart has improved a bit -- its your choice.

I quit...
