Hay fever sucks balls

I wondered when my hay fever would start this year. Some people around me seemed to be suffering from it before me for a change. I was at a wedding yesterday though, the sun was out (i have the sunburn to prove it) and we were surrounded by grass and trees. End result, hay fever central over here !!

Tablets don't do shit for me. I hope the nasal spray works better... http://www.smilieportal.de/midi-smil...krank/0036.gif

Allergies are irritating. I can deal well enough during the day. Trying to fall asleep with packed sinuses is the difficult part.

peppermint tea does wonders for me, i'll even throw some tea bags in my water bottles for ball games opens up the airways really well. pollen is rampant in my parts this time of year

that really sucks, I used to have it for months during the "summer" period in Holland...it fucked up my whole day basically...drove me cracy

I moved to an island in the Caribbean... no more hay fever :-)

so, solution is very simple, your allergy is telling you you are living in the wrong country... so move ;-)

When I lived in Michigan, it was so bad I would get a shot at the beginning of the season. I don't remember what the shot was (sorry) but now that I live in Georgia, I haven't had any issues, so it must have been something that was native to Michigan

Yeah, i'm just back from the doctors and he gave me some things to try so i'll see how i go with these.

I'm hoping to play a bit of golf again this Summer, but much of it will depend on how bad my hay fever gets. Nothing worse than being out on a golf course and you can hardly see anything. It's a good excuse for playing like shit though... :1orglaugh

I heard it was going to be a really bad year because of the late spring - Touch wood I have been OK so far...

When I was a kid I used to be hospitalized because it was so bad.....

Mine used to be really bad - for a whole month, I used to feel like someone is punching me in the face every 20 seconds. Sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, dry throat, you name it, and that's with antihistamines

Started on Staloral two years ago and for a second year, I feel soooo much better.

I cut myself when sinuses act up. When the blood flows, so are the allergies.

Yeah no shit, I think it's even worse this year so far than last... surprisingly I haven't been affected yet, my wife is suffering tho.
