Happens every couple of years. Insurance must be pricy.

Nothing here in Brno but Prague has been hit hard. We had to cancel shootings cause the girls are busy saving their flats or can't leave the city. Sucks.

bluebook18 06-04-2013 05:33 AM

oh damn that's not good :(

Umbalabob 06-04-2013 08:24 AM

Here in Prague is terrible, yesterday all schools were closed, also no Metro. The most terrible thing is they had to evacuate a hospital, I saw the Paramedics driving there from all parts of the area, sometimes 10 in a row, 2 patients died.
I had 3-4 breakdowns of water in 2 days here and the water created a 6 mē whole in front of my house.
A friend of mine got a call for evacuation of her home :(

We survived already one flood already this year, so my city is safe, but again then village right next to town was hit badly. It was horrible to see houses completely flooded in that village, good thing city defense was working fine.

mineistaken 06-05-2013 10:20 AM

so what happened? extra extra rain or broken dam?

Not quite that bad here but they have closed the schools 2 days in a row with record numbers of cars stranded in flooded areas. Most drive small cars.
