If there was another Internext show, in the summer, in Miami, at the Westin Diplomat, would you go?

Yeah, and instead of booking the whole hotel we could have a WHOLE FLOOR reserved for us!! :D

A whole room might be more in line with attendance figures.

Florida in the summer has never had much appeal to me personally.

Meh... I miss it. To me the Internext Miami shows were GREAT... especially in 2003, 04, 05..after that it started to slide. But still - I miss those good times!

Yup. Only show I ever got burned on was Xbiz (booked the show, paid for my tickets, but wasted a flight and a room when they couldn't find my reg, despite my card being charged .. argh).

Only if Theo and Panos agree to wear Speedos.

I'd rather see them rent another cruise ship and take us into international waters where business can occur on so many levels........I remember the last time with rather fond memories.

Well of course. Visiting the Diplomat outside of Internext was a huge eye opener though.

I ordered room service one year, and it was a quick $60 for some burgers and a slice of key lime pie. :1orglaugh

Shows are dead now. Sad but true. :(

I would go of I knew for sure that the attendance was going to be good... not really the case lately

I always liked that show. I liked the fact that everyone stayed at the hotel for the whole show, and you could see everyone you need to see just by sitting in the lobby for a few hours and waiting for people to walk by.

as a northern german the weather in florida in august is almost killing me - lol

but overall it was a good show and the one in 2004 was my first american show which really boosted our business back then

And thanks to Sperbonzo for taking care of me back then ;)

How many were there in total at the Diplomat?

If you could get Phoenix Forum attendance numbers it might be worth it. :winkwink:

The Diplomat is back in another era, if there was a second show in South Fla, it would have to be in another location, aside from the Diplomat:2 cents:
