Sadly she doesn't have much time to enjoy it. It's almost cruel. Can't buy youth.

She'll probably spent the bulk of it on cocaine and enjoy her last few remaining years...

Or did she take 1 payment

itx 06-06-2013 01:06 PM

She will not have much time for spend the prize.

bronco67 06-06-2013 05:42 PM

The government is going to get most of that money. They'll take a giant chunk now, and most of what's left when she dies in 1 year.

RyuLion 06-06-2013 05:43 PM

Good for her and her family...

NETbilling 06-06-2013 11:23 PM

That's a nice chunk of change.

Matt 26z 06-07-2013 12:15 AM

I wonder if the machine would have chosen the same winning numbers for the woman that let her cut in line? That would depend on how the machine generates random numbers.

BettingHandle 06-07-2013 12:19 AM

I think too much money could be a curse, but I'd like to be tested. :upsidedow

Exactly. The government will take 1/3 now as "windfall tax", and then they will tax the estate another 50% to 60%, so her family will be left with about 158 M out of the original 590 M

HelmutKohl 06-07-2013 08:19 AM

I am sure she can afford now a small army of lawyers to set up few estates trusts and offshore trusts, she should follow Mitt Romney and his advisers " It is closer to 12%...." Hmm and you pay 33% like other millions of suckers! :thumbsup

lock 06-07-2013 08:52 AM
