The New Black Sabbath Album

I love it, just got it on iTunes Tuesday...there are songs way better than this on the CD than this, but even this is great...

I would have loved to see Bill Ward on board for a 100% original reunion, but Brad Wilkes kicks ass.:thumbsup

What I have heard, it is bad ass!

It's pretty good, but I've been listening to a lot of bands lately doing the Black Sabbath thing better than Black Sabbath.

I appreciate that they're basically the godfathers of the doom/sludge genre, but I just couldn't help thinking about how much better I like the new bands.

There are so many solid albums out this year and a good number of them are from veteran acts. I'm feeling good about music in 2013.

Both solid. My friend Will is the singer in Alice In Chains now.

Love the Unknown Henson avatar. :)

thinking about buying it. Heard "God is dead" a few times on the radio and its great. Ozzy sounds so much better. I heard he split from his wife too. I wonder if the married life was limiting his creativity to that horrible "The Osbornes" show.. glad to see him making real music again.

that's cool. it will never be the same without layne but both albums since have been great. have you ever seen unknown live? apparently he isn't touring anymore. such a shame.

I have always been a huge fan of Black Sabbath and Ozzy, and this latest album absolutely kicks ass. Has that same old Black Sabbath sound to it, and unlike most albums where only 2-3 songs are decent, ALL the songs are excellent.

Think I'll listen to it again on the way home tonight! :thumbsup

God Is Dead?

I love that song. Made me flash back 20 years...

Sabbath RULES. Period.
Not bad for a bunch of sixty year olds, too. :D

The new Tricky album is great, Vampire Weekend's is pretty good. Then, of course there was Daft Punk and Depeche Mode. That and those that you mentioned are only since May.

I saw their reunion tour back in 1998 in L.A. They were touring with Pantera. It was an epic show.

Ozzy kicks ass! Saw them maybe 20 years ago in Wolverhampton. Just amazing
