Affiliates: How are your CCBill rebills this month?
This thread is only for *affiliates* and not program owners or reps to give input. Please don't respond if you are not primarily an affiliate. Thank you.
I'm seeing some pretty nasty numbers. What is everyone else seeing? I saw someone else complaining about CCBill rebills lately so I thought I'd ask. |
Do we really need a new CCBill thread every week?
Everyone knows they are in a downward spiral. Jump ship and cut your losses while you still can. |

My re-bills are fine and pretty much normal. My new sales this month on the other hand are the worst since the first month I started with my 1st ccbill sponsor in 2003.

My sales & rebills (from both my own paysite and affiliate sponsors I market) are exactly in line with previous months. I've seen nothing unusual whatsoever.
This kinda makes me think all this hysteria is just low-volume sites/webmasters having an unlucky week or month or whatever and looking for the most convenient scapegoat. Maybe I'm wrong on this and there really is something going on for you guys - but if so, whatever it is isn't affecting me at all. Affiliate sales are normal, paysite sales are normal. |
Rebills are fine but sales are the worst i can remember.

Since I'm a sponsor/program owner, I'll refrain from commenting about my conversions, however I saw some stats yesterday on another program which I found interesting.
Amateur Allure seems to have a nice formula for their site. Yesterday, I happened to see that they are the #11 studio on PornHub, with 398 videos (avg 5 mins), and tens of million of views (several videos are over a million views). Despite this, their Alexa ranking appears to have slumped horribly over the few years since they have been partnering up with PornHub: http://traffic.alexa.com/graph?w=400...eurallure.com& I understand that Alexa is not the "be all to end all", but that appears to be a huge decrease in traffic. Undoubtedly AA is getting some joins in the process, but I wonder at what cost. :stoned ADG |
Thanks everyone. I was just wondering because it seemed almost all of my sales last month never rebilled this month. Plus I lost a considerable amount of old rebills. I was thinking it may have had to do with the Mastercard charge thing or something else. It could just be bad luck or a sad trend.

very good

absolutely horrendous! Not had a new signup this month so far and rebills are dropping off, I think next weeks payment from ccbill will be my last for a long time, annoying thing is most of my sites are micro niche which is mainly ccbill sponsors, its ok to say drop ccbill sponsors, but then you are left with a site with no content because it cannot be found outside ccbill!
|
Dunno if anyone else is doing this but I am currently going thru a long list of sponsors whatever their processing, nats, epoch ect and whats in my accounts that have not quite reached payout amount and has been sat there for ages due to no signups for a while, I am lowering it to trigger a payout...it all adds up! Gonna give it till end of August then I am out for good...maybe!

Micro niches got fucked harder by the tubes and file lockers. There is a limited amount of people into that stuff so when it starts getting given out for free it causes the sales to plummet and you can't make it up on volume. You're stuck because the people into it will no longer pay. Quote:

Rebills have dropped a little but new sales have plummeted in the last 2 weeks.
And I agree with one other poster above that if we leave ccBill then there aren't many other programs left to promote. |

Alexa is at best a slight and thin guide to traffic. I do agree that they most likely have seen a decline in traffic over the past years as happens with most products, but so has Alexa themselves in the number of people using the tool bar that counts this. So you really, as you stated have to take their info as a guide. |
