Can any of you recommend a good mainstream host please?

Looking for shared of VPN hosting if possible.

Have only had dedicated boxes with them though.

Those companies which are good for adult are equally good for mainstream too,if not better.

Failing that, HostGator and GoDaddy hosting are both okay depending on your needs and both have VPS available at an affordable price.

I use Digital Ocean for all my hosting needs... They're great. Linode is a close second.

if you can manage it yourself - then Digital Ocean - cheap and very powerful (SSD powered, lots of memory, good CPUs, lots of bandwidth, backups, one click upgrades...). You can install cPanel or DirectAdmin so you can manage it more easily... I use it and performance is amazing!!!
