Google Fiber Update
For all you asking about Google Fiber Lately.
Last 2 weeks there have been trucks working getting cable to the houses. Today there have been 2 mini vans that will stop at a house for installation. Takes a couple of hours per house. Pic of these colorful trucks http://arstechnica.com/business/2013...-never-happen/ |
should be interesting to follow

If they can encourage others to offer the same speeds by being a direct competitor with them in various markets, even better.

Yup, world leaders.

Crossing my finders they come to my neighborhood in a few years. I think there's a very good possibility!

They need to get they act together
My neighbor got the 5mpbs "free" service if you pay $25/12 months or $300 flat for installation. So I've been trying to call their 24 hour toll free number to see if it's not too late to get the same. All I get is a phone that rings and never answered or a fast busy signal. Not a good way to show your company off.
May take Time Warner 20 minutes to answer your call, but at least they do. |
We have them here in Kansas City.
Best thing to happen around here in awhile. |
