Too much work.

His timing is, however, impeccable.

I thought he was putting on that voice.

Then the call ended. And he still spoke like that. :1orglaugh

I have horrible credit because I haven't had credit cards in over a decade, so I recently signed up for a small credit card with a small limit. I put gas on the card once or twice a month and that's it. Seems I missed a payment and they - Capital One - had the balls to call me. I asked them why they were calling me and they are there like "you owe us $70" and I kept asking why they were calling me over $70. Eventually they would hang up, only to have someone else from India call me again. This went for days.

I can't figure out why you have such bad credit. :1orglaugh

You are like one bar owner which i know,he had two newspaper subscriptions ,and he owed like 50$ and they called him and threaten him,why he is not paying so he said fuck off and canceled both subscriptions.

Just pay the $70?

Personally I would have done the following.

Oh sorry, I forgot, I will pay that right now - jump on netbank, slide the money over tell them a receipt number and bang done / finished!

Several years ago I went through a rough patch and got behind on my bills. I called the company that holds the mortgage on the house and told them that I would be late with this month's payment. I normally pay it on the first, but it was going to be around the 15th this month. They told me that they will note it, but I might still get a call from them.

They called me every single day from the 5th to the 15th. Everyday I told them same thing and everyday they noted it on my account and the next day they called again. The funny thing was that it was the same person who was calling. They likely have an automated dialer, but still, it was pretty funny. After 3-4 days I just started saying, "Check your notes, it the same thing I told you each of the last 4 days."

LOL! I have a simple routine that will get me off their call lists quickly that I use on companies that insist on calling me after I tell them that I am on the Do Not Call List and do not want to hear from them again...

Them: Hi, I am XXX.... are you interested in XXX?

Me (faking a bad accent): Yes!

Them: Great! Can I gt your first and last name?

Me: Yes!

Them: OK.

Me: Yes!

Them: What is your first and last name?

Me: Yes!

Them: Sir, can you hear me?

Me: Yes!

Would you be interested in XXX?

Me: Yes

Them: Can I get your first and last name?

Me: Yes!

etc...:1orglaugh

While studying I was a telemarketeer.
Trust me...you dont want to piss off the wrong one.
They are experienced and can prank you more then you can prank them.
And they can do it for years....in the bosses time.
