having this for lunch
got 2 racks of ribs... cleaned the racks down, pulled the silver skin... these racks came with chipotle rub so I let that ride for now. injected those bad boys with AJ and popped them in the oven at 300...
took the meat scraps from the ribs, boiled them until tender... drained and broke the pork down... made some pork and beans...
for bbq sauce I took some ready made hickory bbq sauce I found (without corn syrup) added some diced crystalized ginger and a handful of dried cherries, along with a splash of cherry extract.... put that on simmer...
later I'll pull the ribs, wrap them tight in foil with a bit of AJ and a few more dried cherries... when the ribs have had enough of that I'll pull them out of the over, drizzle with cinnamon honey, a splash of the cherry bbq sauce and pop the suckers back in the oven, unwrapped at low heat to put a good bark on them...
got some potato salad at the store... not ready to make my own yet... still have to produce content all day and edit so I'm kinda busy
