You totally got ripped off, good cupcakes are way cheaper than you paid for these.

I went to three different bakeries. I thought two dollars a piece was fair, average price was $1.75. I don't want to eat crap.

you can just eat the tops and donate the stumps to the local soup kitchen.

I was considering matching sprinkle contributions, but did not want to seem pompous.

Last month I invested all of $100 into a speaker Called the Sound Kick. Freaking awesome. It's a small portable speaker with a great sound, battery operated, blue tooth... Awesome. I use it in the bathroom and down in the garage.

Those cupcakes arent worth more than 0.50 a piece. Why not do something good like donate that money to charity?

I've got a stake in a cupcake business. It's small, but it's enough that I get free gourmet cupcakes whenever I want them.

They sell those cupcakes at all the grocery stores around here, they're pretty good.
