Was offered $10,000 for my domain- how do I build it into a money machine?
 

Hi, I'm new to GFY.

I have this domain name that someone on HuntingMoon offered $10,000 for. HuntingMoon never contacted me about it and the offer expired on the 14th. I've seen a couple nice websites I wanted to make the site modeled off of. The sites are nakedyounggirl.com and young-dreams.com. They are ranking at <50,000 on Alexa respectively. This is a very nice domain name with potential. What services am I going to need to make this a successful adult website?

What you will need really depends on the domain name itself...a good domain name and Alexa ranking alone are generally not enough to reliably monetize, but it is a head start that many webmasters do not have.

I have sold quite a few domain names for $10k+, and to me, the $$$ can (and would) talk me out of the thought of developing an entirely new site for all but the best domain names.

If you are already in the adult game and can just change up one of your existing site templates and increase your overall traffic in general, I could see the value. If not, it will take you a long time to make $10k off of a brand new site.

Having said that, the quickest way to monetize will be with affiliates and advertising since you already have some decent foot traffic. This is really a short term solution though, if you want to get in it for the long haul you will need to decide what approach you want to take (blog, tube, etc.) and buy some content.

Looks like your money making machine is about to make you 10 grand. Unless you want to pass on the deal and work your ass off to make 10 bucks a month!

looks like decent quality traffic but i personally would sell tgp for that price. ;)

If you are able to wisely invest money that you get for a domain then sell it and take care about something you have on mind. However, if the domain has a potential to earn and have good deals then think about whether it is worth to you to sell it.

Sell it now! The domain industry is about to change "big time".. thousands of new gTLD's are coming!!
