You cannot replace the main character and expect to get the same results. I saw one episode with Ashton and I was not impressed.

Probably because the directors thought Ashton was too much of a sweet heart. The decision to continue the show was a mistake.

I can still watch the old repeats on tv no problem.

The new ones though ? Not so much...

I never understood why they didn't inherit the house to the brother and then he needs a roommate to keep up on some huge mortgage no one knew about and a clause he can't sell it. Or he just needs a roommate to pay the taxes etc. Just something that is believable versus how they did it. Now you have a situation that makes zero sense and is not funny because it is weird.

Cancel the fucking show already.

I only ever watch the show if its a repeat and Candy is in it but I don't normally watch it as it has by far the worst laughter track I've ever heard!

You obviously haven't heard that dreadful 'Jim Belushi' thing that's on C4 in the morning - It's terrible...

I saw a few episodes of it with the new guy and its ok. Have not seen allen being an ass.

I still watch re-runs of Friends many days on Comedy Central. I can still laugh my ass off at many episodes.

At time i wish it was still going...

All they had to do was replace Charlie Sheen with a similar character and replace Jake with a much younger kid because that setup worked and the show would have been golden for another few seasons.

Ryan Stiles was a great addition to the cast though, there has been a few episodes where his character Herb has been hilarious.

Some episodes of Anger Management have been ok, but certainly nothing special.

I do agree with you about Ryan Stiles though. He's always made me laugh...

I am the opposite of all of you. I did not like it with Charlie, I love it now. The first episode of Ashton was really pretty terrible, it took a few episodes before they figured out what was going on. Now I think it's quite funny.

I loved the old show, now, not loving it, Jake is gone and the Ashton character is the complete opposite of the character it replaced

I may have watched 10 episodes of 2 1/2 men. I thought the show was a funny but I never really got into it enough to watch the show regularly. I have watched all of the Anger Management shows and find them to be very funny.
