Why so many Pornographers, Adult Webmasters, Content Producers, Adult Models, etc, choose to live in Las Vegas or near Las Vegas?...

Why they choose to live in a Desert? Even if they buy a nice house, its impossible to have a nice garden. Funny to see those big new houses with no grass at all, or just a very small piece of green grass that's almost impossible to maintain.

The desert is beautiful. 9 months out of the year the weather is great. It's a little hellish right now but I'd take 115 in the desert over 90 and 95% humidity in Florida any day.

You can drive 20 minutes up into the mountains and have snow and skiing in the winter and 40 degrees cooler temperatures in the summer.

Plus, you know, it's Vegas.

What I've learned from this thread: a home is only a home if it has a garden.

Vegas is what it is and doesn't pretend to be anything else. Of course it's gaudy and tacky, that's kind of the point. Nobody ever claimed it was some kind of high cultural center.

Also, escorts don't get busted as often, in Las Vegas. It's not legal (as some people assume), but law enforcement doen't put in as much effort to combat prostitution as say...Oakland.

Vegas is very accepting. Your neighbors won't fuck with you, people don't find it weird if you work uncommon hours or out of home. It's normal to not have a traditional 9-5 job, everywhere is open 24 hours. The social standards are a little looser in regards to sex and morality.

your question has two points, when you speak about no gardens then you talk about all people who move there, when you speak about models you talk about city benefits they get, owning a house is not a priority. Plus mosts of the models not in vegas lives in apartments so no garden as well.

VERY affordable to live, Awesome weather 9 months out of the year. And I would MUCH prefer to suffer through 110 heat than 5 degrees winter with snow. Nuff' said.

Problem with many of these posts is most only think of Vegas as the area surrounding the strip. Drive 15 minutes from the strip to Summerlin and you'll see a normal community with everything you could possibly need even grass :winkwink:
