Anyway, I can't remember where the hell I heard it, but with all the crap stereotypes that get floated about, about chicken (I'm with anyone who likes chicken!) and watermelon and all that crap.....

Have you ever heard of: black people don't like mayo?

All the black people i know eat mayo. Just back in the day many people ate salad dressing, it was cheaper. If you ate miracle whip all your life a sandwich with mayo on it would taste weird.

There is a little truth in all stereotypes, but when it come to food, people eat what they can afford and is easily available. Chicken is usually cheaper. Chinese love chicken. Unless your family eats steaks everyday?

Everyone loves chicken. KFC is huge in china and last time I was traveling through Europe every country I hit had a KFC nearby.

Been digging the Peruvian rotisserie chicken lately.

well that was it really lol. It's just something I'm aware of, either because it's true, or simply because I subconciously believe it, due to it being pointed out to me when I was about 14 or 15. Whenever I remember that stereotype, like now, I try to think how many of my black friends have dogs, and it's none. Then I think how many blacks I see in Tottenham/Edmonton walking dogs, and it's a miniscule amount, like maybe 2 owners I'll spot in 3 or 4 days.

This thread just reminded me of that is all, and I still can't decide 25 odd years later whether it's true, or a load of bollocks said by someone who was indeed a racist bloke :)

I am white as hell and I love Watermelon. I also cannot go near fried chicken because I will eat it till I puke.

Apparently they don't swim or ski either... Aversion to water and other wet liquids which is why most of them smell... Or so I've heard...

I'm black and like/eat chicken, watermelon and mayo. Own 5 dogs. Can swim. Can also ski and snowboard. Have skydived, done shark dives and even done extreme cave exploring. Semi-decent rock climber. Have two bachelor's degree's and working on passing the bar exam by next year, depending on my schedule. Own my own house and various properties on multiple islands in the Caribbean. Married. One kid by marriage. No criminal record. Can build a company's computer network from the ground up, maintain it, secure it and train all users. Can run a 12 second 100M and and a 50 second 400M.

I suck at basketball though.

Almost forgot, I can do it in 14 with a sidearm (holstered though).

I eat chicken at least 3 times a week and some type of mellon almost everyday. Not fried though.
