wpXtube contact needed
 

I need a contact person from wpXtube, anybody on ICQ or is there an email address where I can reach someone directly?

i tried contacting them before using their contact form... Got no response whatsoever i'm afraid...

In the end, I wrote a bunch of server scripts (perl and php) to assist me in running wpxtube... And i edited the templates to use a modern video player instead of the one wpxtube uses out-of-the-box.

I really like wpxtube, it's a great tool, but they should have a forum, a mail addres where you actually get a reply, or an icq-number imo.

One thing that might help: they seem to work closely together with VIP revenue... Maybe they have contact info from the developer?

Btw, i never changed anything in the sourcecode of their script, and left their mandatory links up... I do hope my changes are allowed in their licence agreement...

• My version uses jwplayer6, instead of an older version/flowplayer
• I wrote a database + script so i could manually load all export forms to a feed that is readable by wpxtube (so i can basically add any sponsor that offers hosted videos)
• I changed my setup so that, if a preview image does not exist, a standard image is showed instead of the ugly 'image not found'*
• i wrote a little script to refetch all null-preview-images in an efficient way* (i had so many feeds their standard tool to refetch all images crashed)
• i wrote a little script that optimizes all preview images* (they took over 20 gigs initially)

* these "addons" are implemented on my host, running debian, nginx, mysql, php... I'm pretty sure they'll work on all versions of LAMP to (Linux, apache, php, mysql), but i guarantee nothing

If there are any other problems that could also benefit me, you're welcome to ask :-). Keep in mind their script is encoded, so i cannot change anything to the script itself. I could change the templates, or change stuff directly into the database...

If you need changes in the script itself, i would personally try to contact support from VIPrevenue.com, i'm pretty sure they'll have contact info on the creator if wpxtube
