What is a current ballpark rate for a US-based model for solo or boy/boy work? Having a convo here and hearing $1500 for boy/boy, seemed kind of excessive.

Depends on what part of the country you are in...solo $150 to $200.
Action duo $150 to $200 (each)

They all think they are going to get rich but the fact of the matter is that there are tons of guys who will do duo for nothing (especially bottoms if you have a hot top - those guys are sluts)...solo also but usually have to pay something.

Where do you get those numbers for duos? We don't pay that little and I do not personally know any studio that does.

Must be some horrendous looking talent. The only ones to apply and offering to do it for free are ugly as fuck.

As for G4P there is no bonus for being straight. You're scene rate may be higher if you're in demand, but your sexuality has nothing to do with it.
