Paxum Update - Card Transfer Issue
 
We would like to apologize for the extended downtime of our Transfers from Paxum Checking to Paxum Mastercard.

During our maintenance earlier today we implemented some changes, and unfortunately something in those changes appears to have created an issue with our processor.

We do understand the urgency of this matter and we are working diligently to fix this problem as quickly as possible, however we cannot guarantee that transfers to the Paxum Mastercard will be reactivated before the end of the day. We thank you for your continued patience and we ask you to please rest assured that transfers between Checking and Mastercard will be returned to normal service as soon as we possibly can.

In light of this continued inconvenience we will be providing free transfers from Paxum Checking to Paxum Mastercard for the next week to all Paxum clients once our system returns to fully operational. Once again, we are sorry for the extended downtime of this service.

Please note: Paxum Mastercards are fully functional and can be used for purchases and ATM withdrawals as normal. Paxum P2P payments are also fully functional. Only Transfers between Checking and Mastercard are affected by this issue. Please also note that all other Paxum withdrawal options are fully operational if you wish to withdraw your funds by wire, check, EFT, or to an already existing credit card.

Only deploy to production, never test on production. That's what development and staging environments are for. Development 101 is correct.

To be fair - It seems that the issue involves the Banks processes as well - That makes it more difficult to run tests...

Yesterday it was error on their system while upgrading something... today its bank fault hahahahahhahahahahahahaahha

Transfers from the Checking Account to the Paxum Mastercard and from the Paxum MasterCard to the Checking Account are currently suspended due to a technical error found at our bank.

Please note that we are in constant communication with the bank regarding this situation and as soon as they solve it these transfers will be available.

I would not be surprised if it were something else entirely like a major security breach which was found but they are just not telling people. Then when I was posting about it later one of the reps started hinting that I was making false statements by calling it a "security or privacy breach" when basically that is exactly what it was. The point is you never know with this company because they will play games with you.
