Looking back

What makes up the 24/7/365 mainstream news day is not actually 'news'. I do not think it's even journalism with facts any longer.

Most of it is sensationalized drivel pushing 'hot buttons' or talking points that are leaning to the left or right to keep their viewers watching while pounding home the corporate overlord's view points whether conservative republican, or traditionally liberal.

It has little to do with anything remotely resembling a 'fair and balanced' objective in any way. It's all about ratings and advertisers.

Quite true.... and this applies to ALL news outlets, all over the world. They ALL have agendas, filters and bias. Thank god we now have access, for those who take the time, to pretty much all of them, so that we can look across the spectrum and try to piece together what is actually happening.
