Movies with little to no dialogue
like Drive and Only God Forgives...
Is it just me or are these movies slow and ultimately extremely boring? Then add in an artsy fartsy director and you feel like the characters are in super slow mo. What has given rise to these shit heap movies? Drives me crazy that people think this horse shit is good. Fuck i could splice together 45 random scenes and make a shit heap movie in 5 minutes. |
Different strokes for different folks man... both of those are by the same director (Nicholas Refn) so obviously his stuff ain't your cup of tea. I dig them, there's a lot of interesting stuff going on besides the dialogue (or lack thereof).

They are art house movies and to be honest, you are the first person I have talked to who like both of those movies. If I had to choose, i'd definitely say that drive was far better than the second movie. God it was terrible, horrendous even. Quote:

If you don't get it, you don't get it. And you don't get it.
Refn is one of the best Director's out there. The Pusher movies are awesome. |
I watched Drive. Did not strike me as a movie with "little to no dialogue". I mean they did not speak much, but "little to no dialogue" would be something like 10% of what was spoken on Drive to me..
