I was invited to judge a home brewers contest
I knew this talent would come in handy some day.

The third one gets my vote - You knew that already though:)...
Edit: On closer inspection it is the last one, it has a finer head..... |

So that's Stout, IPA, Pilsner and Belgian?.... The last two are difficult - I change my mind - Belgian and then Pilsner... |

Left to Right: Yeti (stout) by Great Divide Brewing Company, Arrogant Bastard (strong ale) by Stone Brewing Co., Hoppy Pils (pilsner) by Firestone Walker Brewing Co.. 312 Urban Wheat Ale by Goose Island Beer Co. Just got back from Brew at the LA Zoo . . . that was fun http://sphotos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...85017085_n.jpg http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...88208571_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...15382669_n.jpg http://sphotos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...35087488_n.jpg |
Nice. So what did you pick? I'd go with the strong ale or the pilsner. But looks can be deceiving.

Oh, that was a flight I ordered a couple months ago at LA Brewing Co; the Drink Good Beerfest is in September. They just approached me today and asked if I would be a judge. I thought it was pretty cool because I have never heard of them or their event. It is the first time I have been asked to be a judge (I've seen where people pay to be judges), so I am flattered. |
