Using PayPal for Nude Fetish
I know PayPal has a hard-on for porn, but I've seen some clips4sale producers using PayPal to process for their linked sites for certain fetishes that have nude models, but no sex, no sex toys and no physical contact. Think whipping.
I'd rather not list any sites as examples, because I don't want to give PayPal a heads up if it isn't kosher. Any thoughts or experiences! |

1. PayPal is now an option for adult sites through Epoch if the customer is Europe-based. 2. This may mean PayPal is looking at doing the same for US-based customers, but aren't there yet. 3. PayPal has processed in the past for adult - just not for site subscriptions or digital downloads (yes for DVDs and sex toys) 4. PayPal keeps their TOS vague as relates to Adult, so they alone can decide whether to process or put a site owner through a six-month investigation and freeze their account. |
Paypal and Epoch are running a trial, it would be foolish to use that as motivation to try and use Paypal for direct processing.
If you run foul of Paypal's AUP then you not only risk a six month freeze of your funds, you also risk forfeiture. It's not a risk worth taking. If you want to process something questionable through Paypal then you should email [email protected] and seek explicit approval. Only with such approval are you protected. |
Speculate allll you want...but, as GrapeSoda said... "have fun!".
I prefer to keep my account open. |
Bump for a business-related thread - if you had a foot fetish or whipping site - with no sexual overtones, i.e. acceptable with YouTube policies, would you process through PayPal?

It sounds like you just want someone to say "go ahead it's ok" rather than asking for the correct answer. |
