Seeking Digital Camera advise for consumer compact fun
 

Hi guys I am looking to grab a new dig cam. Phones are good but I want to get a little better pictures. I am a newbie with a nice eye.

I was thinking the interchangeable compact style is up my alley. I might have some time I would use a longish lens 300MM or so

I want it to have wifi for sure and an app to get pics to iphone

We have a Samsung EK-GC100 and whilst I despise Samsung, I have to say that it's a pretty decent camera for amateurs.

My Black Magic Pocket Cinema should come in this week.

Can't be beat for under $1000 for video.

I was actually looking at still camera but I do want the video to be decent thanks for the reply

The NEX and PEN are hardly compact... You'll need pretty big pockets to carry them around!
