YNOT Awards Announce 2013 Nominees; Open Industry-wide Voting

BUDAPEST (Aug. 15, 2013) ? More than 100 professionals and companies in the online adult industry have been nominated for 2013 YNOT Awards. Voting for the third-annual peer-determined awards opened Aug. 15 at YNOTawards.com.

?This year?s list of nominees is varied and impressive,? said Connor Young, president of adult industry news and technology company YNOT Group LLC. ?There are some familiar names, of course, but a surprising number of nominees are people and companies that typically are overlooked by other awards-giving organizations."

?That?s one of the reasons we involve rank-and-file members of the industry in the process from start to finish,? Young continued. ?The YNOT Awards are intended to be a legitimate representation of honest-to-goodness standouts, based on business-to-business interaction. The nominees were selected by a jury with input from the industry at large, and the winners will be determined by an industry-wide vote.?

Awards for 2013 will be given in 29 categories ? four more categories than in 2012. Categories recognize everything from membership websites to marketing campaigns, revenue and traffic programs, billing and hosting companies, content providers, and industry events. This year?s awards also will honor Innovator of the Year and Emerging Company of the Year along with the Businesswoman of the Year and Businessman of the Year.

Voting will continue through Sept. 18. Adult industry members may visit this page to register to vote. Only those currently employed in the adult entertainment industry are eligible; credentials will be verified.

The 2013 YNOT Awards will be presented Sept. 25 during an elegant dinner ceremony at Symbol, a highly-regarded restaurant, wine cellar and art gallery located in one of Budapest?s most exclusive areas. The venue, inside a 220-year old European mansion, combines historic atmosphere and five-star cuisine, according to YNOT Group Vice President Jay Kopita.
