I'm from the UK, we only just got episode 1, please don't give me any spoilers, intriguing although probably nicked from Battleship, what do y'all think ?

The book was written many years ago and shelved until King dusted it off and updated it for a more modern audience.

If the trailer is anything to go by, extremely pathetic. Am I right they are "under the dome" that nothing can leave or enter? But a plane engine does?

Reminds me of The Simpson's movie.

The town only has burritos and beans to eat in the end. This causes a lot of farting in the dome, and eventually someone lights a match. Kaboom

I've read a lot of Stephen King books over the years, but Under The Dome was the first book of his that I had to tap out on half way through and never finished. Maybe it got better in the 2nd half, but for some reason it just couldn't hold my interest...

This show has some of the worst acting I've seen in years! However I continue to watch it every week!

I thought the first few episodes lacked quality that most of the cable tv shows have. Typical network junk but it's gotten better.

I'm enjoying it. Not a perfect show, but interesting enough for me to finish out the first season at least.

They could have stayed true to the book with 13 episodes, but it definately isn't the same story.

It definitely has a so bad it's good quality.

I haven't missed an episode of Under The Dome yet. I really hope Junior dies soon since he is the only one I really despise.

Is this the "Under the dome" where they are meant to be stuck under said dome, and no object can enter, or leave, except a plane engine? Sure I've seen the trailer for it, or were they inside the dome already? Looks pathetic anyway.

Yea I prefer the simpsons version.

I thought it was going to be terrible but its not nearly as bad as it could be. there are a few actors that really shouldn't be given jobs but other then that its good.

I have missed the last 3 episodes because of the cbs time warner black out. I enjoyed it. The time slot had nothing else decent to watch so I got into it

OK seriously, just watched the last episode in the UK, it has got cornier and cornier, I thought we were heading for some major revelation but we ended up with hang em high and Julia Shunwe throwing the egg in the water for "no reason whatsoever" ! Then it just ended, WTF, I know there's a second series but it better be good.

next show there is an earth quake and they call it "the snow globe" It gets good when the dome fills up with water and they are all floating to the top until a sword fish cracks the dome and the water drains but the hole is to small for anyone else to get out. Then they duct tape the dome and move on
