Content creation/selling questions
 

I recently had the idea of creating amateur content, which I guess would fit into the girlfriend niche, and then selling those pictures/videos. Obviously the idea isn't new or anything but as someone who is trying to get into the business, any advice would definitely be helpful.

Some of my main questions are:

How do I determine the value of the content? If I can't sell the content for higher than I'm paying the models, there really isn't a point.. So I just want to make sure I'm not overpaying them.

Where do I sell the content?
Do I need anything else besides ID/photo release forms to operate within the law?

We are actually looking to start buying reseller rights to adult images and the gf niche would be perfect. We are planning to sell them on images.amsmultimedia (dot) com.

Don't mean to jack your thread, but I'm interested in this as well. I have a few girls available for shooting.

Content will cost as much as someone will give you for it. So you need to make your first set and try to sell it. After you'll show it - you will know "your level", you will know your mistakes, you will know what can you do to make it better next time.

You can show it here, may be someone will buy it. Another way - you can try to find websites with the same niche, contact them, and try to sell. One more way - sell your content to a reseller, but this will be cheaper. One more way - open your own store and begin to promote it (not a good idea if you are not producing a lot and if you do not plan to work in team). And the last thing I think is to make your own paysite wth you content - this is the hardest thing from all I did mention.

Documents for the shootings:
1. Two Government issued IDs with date of birth printed on it and photo of the model. Scanning, printing. Model signs it. Scanning again.

2. Making a picture with each of the 2 documents with the model.

3. Making a picture with a fresh newspaper (the date of the shooting) with the model

4. Making a picture of the newspaper and both documents and the model.

5. Shooting the video of model signs ModelRelease form and 2257 form. Asking questions if model is older than 18, if model is not under alco or drugs, if model was suduced for shootings etc.

6. Printing a list of the pics (thumbnails) and making screens from the video, printing and attaching to the shooting with models signature. Now you know which shooting it was for this Model Release.

Many will say I'm crazy, but such a list of the docs did save us several times.
Many works only with ModelRelease and 1 ID but this may cause big troubles if something will go wrong.
