Interesting Google Redirection
|
A better question would be why would you put up an image instead of the text? I doubt anyone is going to go thru the effort to figure it out.

goes straight to 'all about food storage'.. you gotta hack?
|
Can we spam you our Viagra links?
|
What link do you want us to click, the first one Google serves. Mine is a local UK pharmacy.

It's some blog. But same thing happened on a few other sites/domains too. |
Sounds more like malware than a mass conspiracy for Google to increase their Viagra affiliate sales.

people often do redirection based on URI stems.
if from google - go here, if direct - go here. sometimes hacked sites, sometimes marketing ploy. it's against google's terms, but until the person is caught they can do it. and there's also the chance that you have some type of malware that is smart enough to redirection when certain terms are typed in google and hijack your browser. |
I don't get any redirection. I get:
allaboutfoodstorage blog But all the links are 404 In fact, I typed into Google where to buy viagra online and I didn't get any redirection in the top 10 results. All the sites were the same as those in the SERPS. I think it's more likely you are infected with malware. |
baddog is too old/stupid neither to read nor to understand...

Ok. I have tested it all very carefully.
This site is hacked along with many others. The serverside script probably is set the way it detects and check browser (language, name and version) and a referrer. Then if conditions are met it goes through the wheel of redirections along with sent search keywords. This way Google thinks it's alright, the authors of the sites might do not know either. I was just surprised how many sites are there in the Google search results with same thing on. For a moment I was thinking my computer has a virus or that Google is fucked up. Mystery is solved, thanks everyone anyway. |

However, that domain was only an example, they have much more hacked domains on the first pages of Google search results for many keywords, mainly blogs and forums. Quote:
Yes, I pretended to be a Google bot modifying user agent string, they use Google to crate fake non existing pages searches in search results. Here is some more info on these hackers from 2011. hashable . org/2011/09/wordpress-pharmaceutical-attack/ What is disappointing is that their domains have not yet been blocked since 2011. It looks like you can do illegitimate things and no one cares. (I mean the domains they use for redirection wheel). Though it looks like they have enhanced their techniques/scripts with time but basing on the same concept. What intrigued me was the amount of the same way hacked pages and silent serverside redirections and using http referrer string (Google). That made me think something is wrong with my pc or Google but it is not and I confirmed it in multiple ways. Cleaver mother fuckers. :2 cents: Huh I think I explained it, I think the ones of you who are more into the tech side of webmaster job know what I mean. |
Sorry but I think you are wrong. I checked using Firefox with Live HTTP Headers and I still don't get a redirection, just a 404 page
I tried posting the data but it won't accept it as it's too long. I have a genuine interest in these things, if you want to PM me I can check from my end but I can't replicate this redirection. |
