Why do some people not like webair?
 

I have had nothing but great service, and no problems with the servers.

Also they seen low cost.

To me webair are like dell. I just would not even think of going with a different firm.

Its like dell, to me dell computers are bullet proof and never die. I was given an old dos based laptop years ago. It still works now and I love to play old dos games on it.

I do not get why anyone would not use webair.

You don't run any real business.

A static WP blog with 30 visitors per day isn't hard to keep up, genius.

If you must know once they lost all my data and all my sites. It took me 2 weeks to get everything uploaded and working again. I lost money I lost time. Webair sucks!

I had no problem for years. I was one of those " why does everyone hate " people aswell

Until i started having problems with out any resolve

I've been with them for years. I back up my databases and when I need them to change something, they do it quickly

Webair was a good company for me for a long time. They handled my sites which did over 250k uniques daily with virtually no downtime. When I needed some scripts or changes made they handled them all quickly and professionally.

I had nothing but good experiences with Webair.

I used to get daily downtime and FTP would rarely connect, something about multiple users.
I also didn't like the control panel.

I finally switched a few months ago. Webair still continue to send me invoices even though all content and DBs have been deleted.

I dont know much about hosting and sites but I was with Webair and I loved their 24/7 live chat and they were always happy to help but my sites started going sooooo god damn slow and I spoke to them for months about trying to fix it, I was prepared to pay them to look into it or to upgrade the server or do whatever they needed to do and they kept changing who replied to the ticket and they would basically just say the same thing over and over again and no permanent solution was found, so anyway long story short, I changed servers and the sites are running smooth and perfectly..

Although I did keep my account with Webair and I'm still holding a back up copy of my sites there since they are pretty cheap :)

I had the same problem with the multiple users and I contacted their support and they increased the limit and I never had that issue again.. ( One thing Webair did fix for me )

There are quite a few hosting companies represented on this board -- who host A LOT of adult sites -- that I have heard little to no negative feedback about.

Why someone would choose one with regular complaints over one that you never hear bad about is beyond me.

I've had 4 different "main" hosts over the last 8 years and have moved either for cost and/or support reasons. I left Webair in April purely because of support. Well, there was a cost saving too but if the support had been upto scratch I probably wouldn't have moved. I am very,very happy with the support I get from my current hosts, Americans, based in America.

Can only speak for myself the gave full access to my sever to a stalker who stole all my domains and sold them right here on GFY.

How could someone steal your domains by getting access to your server? That should not give them the ability to change name servers at the registrar.

Domain admin email address maybe, I know I've stolen a couple of DVT's when he's let a domain expire and it's the admin email for some of his other domains.

Easy as 1 2 3.

1. Guy tells Webair guy he's TurboFace.

2. Webair gives guy access.

3. Guy sells all domains here on GFY.

Whatv about step 4? Guy logs into my registrar and sends domain name to his own.
