Paypal is just so awesome - not

I love it when somebody does a chargeback and disapears becuase they were using a fraudenlent account and the legit paypal user gets the charges even after submitting screenshots

Case Closed

Status Details:

We have completed our investigation. After reviewing the details of this case, we have determined that it is unlikely that we will be able to successfully dispute this chargeback. This matter has been resolved and no funds were debited from your account for this chargeback. We were charged a fee for processing this chargeback and have debited your account a Chargeback Settlement Fee.

So it pays to be a scammer cause you get away with it, but by being legit you end up paying for the scamming little fuck

FUCK YOU PAYPAL :321GFY

if you are not selling tangible goods. your putting your ass on the line. next time tell them you need to send a cd to complete the transaction. put a text file on there with all the details sort of bill of sale. then it is tangible :2 cents: :)

Still think its stupid they get away scott free even after submitting screen shots and paypal know the account was fraudulant so cant do anything about it, but I end up paying the charges for something which is not my fault and I have no way of telling whether a paypal account is fake or not.
The account was also a verified account which he used so paypal are not doing their job of catching these fuckwids so they should be the ones paying for this not me

Also learnt the hard way using PayPal with endless unauthorised payment chargebacks.

If you run a commerce store, integrate the PayPal API and use 3D Secure and say goodbye to chargebacks.

Paypal will *ALWAYS* side with the buyer, even if it's not a hacked account.

He used fake money to buy fake money.

Fraud is always bad, but could have been a lot worse. You could have actually performed a service or sold something tangible.
