This makes me sad
why eat sushi anyway when you can eat pussy?
thanks GE and japan
is that for real? that's pretty crazy!
what a mess :(
Its way worse that what they were claiming, they called it a level 2 and just raised it to a level 3 while nuclear physicist's were saying it was a level 7 a year ago, as bad as Chernobyl or even worse considering the location
thats gonna fuck with the Alaska King Crabs aswell.
Fucking humans, we suck!
Thank you japs :disgust

woow this is really bad
that caboku will be in short supply if it can do this to humans as well as sealife.
Beyond depressing as I love my Sushi (obviously)
Now that would be a reason to start a war, then again, Americans are just as stupid to put a plant on the ocean .
I see this as a good thing in a way, as we humans have full on raped the oceans, completely decimating afish populations so we can have sushi at the grocery store 24/7 and 15 sushi placed in town at all times.
Stop eating a non-sustainable food source, and see the bio-mass increase to pre commercial fishing levels. |
what's going on? the link is 503......

It is an opinion piece; so here is my opinion: What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger . . . besides, who wants to live forever?
Personally, I am not going to let a little radiation keep me from eating sushi, it can't be worse than microwaving a baked potato. Besides, their have been people telling us that it wasn't safe to swim in the Santa Monica Bay for as long as I can remember; I survived as did everyone else. http://www.gotbaddog.com/wp-content/...sushi_4914.jpg |

this is from memory, but chernobyl is only one type of radioactive material, where is this is at least two. the other thing is chernobyl had the option of being buried.. this does not. |
If man was gonna fuck things up ,he will eventually kill us all
I tried it a few time and never cared for it.

Should use more salmon (sake) to add more orange color to the sushi. You should submit it to the Giants or some fan sites... :winkwink: I shudder to consider the alternative: https://sphotos-a-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/h...51365492_n.jpg Not so different from spam musubi really... :) :helpme :stoned ADG |

Baddog there is a huge difference. Microwave radiation is non-ionizing. This means that it has enough energy to move the atoms inside molecules around or cause them to vibrate, but not enough to move electrons. Other types of non-ionizing radiation are things like visible light and sound. Your microwave oven cooks food by vibrating atoms in molecules of water, causing friction and generating heat. No actual radiation except for heat is left over in the the food that you microwave. Ionizing radiation like gamma rays and x-rays, which is the kind pouring out of Fukushima, can rip electrons away from Atoms or even break up the nucleus of atoms. It also deposits alot of energy onto a very small space so if a fish eats a radioactive plant, the fish will absorb most of that radiation into its body. This radiation can do all kinds of damage such as cause cancer, burn skin, damage DNA etc. If you eat fish with enough even a little ionizing radiation in it, your own tissue will be affected. You really could get cancer or other forms of radiation poisoning. The world is fucked. As for swimming in Santa Monica Bay, you're lucky. It was a real toilet in until they fixed they upgraded the sewage treatment plants in the 80's but I'm guessing they did alot more to clean it up since it was such a tourist hotspot. I read though that it used to be full of DDT's and other crap. It probably wouldn't hurt to get a checkup. Hopefully you're not sick. |

You may find this article interesting (and disheartening) but definitely worth reading. Of course the mainstream media in the US has not covered this at all, but we got all kinds of news about Miley Cyrus and Kim and Kanye. :error |
