Have em throw you an extra month and you'll make double. :thumbsup
Sorry for your loss btw.

I wouldn't buy ads on any of these networks selling on tubes. Why bother.

Now wait for the bro club to jump in on the defense. 3-2-1...:winkwink:

LeRoy 08-28-2013 11:39 AM

Alice22 08-28-2013 01:13 PM

Have you done some testing/optimizing/tracking your campaign ?

If there ever was a reason not to buy ads - here it is.

Why are you saying that there is no money in porn? They made $500 :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

ITraffic 08-28-2013 01:23 PM

What is the "new" Xhamster site?

signupdamnit 08-28-2013 01:26 PM

Doesn't the ad spot usually list the average ctr? If so how does it compare to what you saw?

ITraffic 08-28-2013 01:29 PM

juicyads.com/juicysites.php?id=73029 ?

CamTraffic 08-28-2013 01:36 PM

Indian traffic ...

HomerSimpson 08-28-2013 01:38 PM

OUCH...

Looks like it probably is

top performing ad: 404 /clicks daily
average ad: 297 /clicks daily
estimated CPC: (cost per click) $0.044
estimated CPM: (cost per impessions) $0.02
estimated CTR: (click through ratio) 0.04%
If so it doesn't seem that far out of range from what JuicyAds shows.

ajrocks 08-28-2013 01:50 PM

you really can' just buy that kind of traffic and expect to make money these days. If it was very productive they would keep it for themselves. It takes a lot of work and money to track and adjust your buys and advertised products. Adult isn't the only option as well, look to networks for different offers. It really does come down to working the numbers and optimizing.

Spot on and why buy 30days on a untested spot when you can buy 7day? Did you try different banners or LPs in the 30days?

Buy selling ad space that doesn't perform.

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience with us.

I will say this again and again in threads regarding our site or any ad network:

Please, please speak with an account manager before you spend a dime on advertising. We know where to point you and like the opportunity to walk you through the network do's and dont's before you start buying ads. Always find out which geos your dating offer converts (from your affiliate manager) in best and only buy direct on sites containing at least 50% of your target traffic. Here is the geo breakdown shown on the buy ads page for the site you bought:

United States (US) United States 15.93%
Germany (DE) Germany 7.58%
Turkey (TR) Turkey 7.50%
Thailand (TH) Thailand 5.62%
United Kingdom (GB) United Kingdom 5.20%
India (IN) India 5.02%

Other Countries 53.15%

Again, if anyone is thinking about doing a direct buy, show us which site you had in mind so we can check it out for you and give it a thumbs up or down. We can also choose sites for you to check out that we feel would work well with your offer and your budget.

My suggestion would have been to contact before the 30 days was up... I don't recall seeing a refund request for this, but I could be wrong.

Its our policy not to make "performance based" refunds, since these are pre-paid direct buys, but at the very least I could have looked at the situation and reviewed the website, traffic, your creatives and offer ... before you just hit up GFY to slam us instead.

I'd like your account username so I can review this, [email protected] .. I review all complaints regarding traffic quality.

I did contact you after 9 days when i started on 1 day before 30 days was up, My Email Was

" Hello, im not really making any money since day 1 and it was really bad idea buy advertising for a month. Can i get some of my money back ?' "

i just got this reply from you

" These are prepaid advertising spaces and it is your responsibility to do what you want with the space. I don’t see any valid reason for a refund at this time. "

Im not trying to slam you guys, I just want webmasters to know that they wont make mistake's like i did.

tigermtb 08-29-2013 01:59 PM

Found it. You're right, you did contact in advance so I apologize for the assumption you did not.

We provide full information to our clients to make informed decisions about their Direct Buy purchases. It appears that for your purposes, this was a bad spot to choose, given the country breakdown and Google PR of 0 = mostly purchased traffic from elsewhere?

You'll definitely want to leave feedback, but in terms of Refund .. the traffic appears to be delivered fine so unless there is a fraud claim here it appears to be a closed issue.

CyberHustler 08-29-2013 03:19 PM

Search Juicy's inventory for the Infamous CyberHustler Network... best bang for your buck :thumbsup

Back in the day of BlackLabel Ads and Adbrite you could spend $50 a week and know it would get a signup if you chose your site right.
Then BlackLabelAds and Adbrite closed down and JuicyAds took their place. Now you need to spend 1,000s to get a sale.

I wouldn't recommend using Juicy at all.

Kenny B! 08-29-2013 06:00 PM

Sue them for $50k, seems to be the thing to do ;-)

tokmansta 08-29-2013 06:36 PM

Tbh, did you think you would just double your money like that? Without any optimisation, testing, filtering?

CamTraffic 08-29-2013 06:42 PM

The days when you could buy and sent traffic to a paysite are almost over.
I have to admit I was doing very well with Juicy at the beginning.
Now it takes forever to sort thru the crappy publishers :'(

bluebook18 08-29-2013 06:42 PM

I can't watch my $500 burn without any return, that's fucked up :disgust

That's not true at all, we have thousands of campaigns running for clients that are profitable, and have been running for a very long time. Direct Buys are a different breed, and it depends a LOT on what you pick and how you manage the spot.

AllAboutCams 08-29-2013 06:53 PM

I like jucy but have no idea where to start ive done a few small buys but i never seem to get the results i want.

Anyone got any tips

billbailey 08-29-2013 07:01 PM

Do juicy offer geo targeted ppc network wide ads?

Anyone got any tips

1)Pick sites that match your niche
2)Look for the green bars under geo, pick sites with primarily high quality countries US, CA, UK, AU etc... as thousands of hits from turkey ain't gonna sell shit
3)Use matching thumbs that relate to your content and rotate a few until you find the ones with the highest CTR to use

If your spending bigger dough $250+ could always do a run of the network and geo target it to only the high quality countries :2 cents:

Yes we do, just be sure to use dynamic linking to remove unproductive sites.

lagcam 08-29-2013 07:44 PM

If you buy any traffic or advertising expecting your money back immediately you will be disappointed. You can get lucky, but it often takes time.

A few years ago, I spent about $95 on cheaper traffic through Juicy direct buys and didn't get a single cent of return. I then spent the remaining $5 of my deposit on 7 days advertising from a site with very cheap clicks, and forgot about it until my tracking system picked up a sale from it around a week after the advertising expired.

That single paying member made another purchase a few weeks later and since then has made over 180 purchases totalling well over $6k.

I advertised again with the same site a short while after, and went back to zero return again.

Point of this post (finally) is that buying traffic is always going to be hit and miss, and a lot depends on your advert catching the eye of the right person at the right time, and your landing page being able to convert him.

lezinterracial 08-29-2013 08:27 PM

I agree with the others on geo targeting only high quality countries.

Was thinking you might want to look into Google ads or facebook ads. I see dating ads everywhere now. Youtube, facebook, yahoo, zerohedge (I think is was a google ad). Alot of competition out there.

Not necessary, when i was testing dating sponsors some of them generated 0 and some generated nice money so having a good creative it is very important.

9 times out of 10, it's user error that leads to poor performance

however, the "click the ads on my site" shit is garbage. coming from someone who sells and manages ad campaigns, this gets under my skin

Mutt 08-30-2013 07:10 AM

LOLOLOLOL this industry never fails to entertain - society's rejects exploiting each other from top to bottom.

that website is a piece of shit, infringing on X-Hamster's trademark
