2257 documents and model release, please advise me

Hello guys,

I need advice about which documents are required for adult content

content will be shot in Europe with European girls (EU members)

do I need to make 2257 record keeping and 2257 model information form beside model release for non-us models and non-us shooting?

also, I saw that someone mentioned that documents copy should be signed by model, not only scanned/pictured and saved electronically, is that true? some 8-9 years ago when I was first time in adult shooting, it was enough to take pic with model holding two documents by head

regarding the release, is required to have a witness or not? I have several adult model releases and some of them are without witness section.

currently I'm doing non-nude photos (stock photography) and for that model release with only one ID and usually no witness is required only and for adult I'm not sure what is needed if material is sold to US customer.

it is not hard to make few papers more if required, but is little pain in the ass if girl need to spend more time with pen instead in front of the camera...

thank you for help

Talk with a lawyer or risk doing it wrong and going to jail or face a fine!

I Am Not A Lawyer - but:

- _Even_ if you are not in the U.S., 2257 is always good (in fact basically a MUST if you are in this business.) Reason: You will almost certainly have some interaction, down the road, with some U.S. based company. They will ask for your 2257 as the first thing. DO IT.

- Documents are to be signed by models. I am pretty sure it is a requirement - but even if it wasnt, why not? it makes sense in any possible way

- Some adult model release styles have the 'witnesses' section, and some don't. I don't think it's a legal requirement in most legislations (i don't see anyone, at least in Europe, getting sued because of the lack of witnesses...), but it's an additional layer of precaution.

Why would you NOT want to have proper documentation, for any instance down the road where you might need it?

ESPECIALLY with age verification...and consent from the model to use the material...
