Earth owes its life to Mars?

In particular, a martian asteroid 'seeded' earth with a compound crucial to the evolution of life? http://www.rappler.com/science-natur...ars-earth-life

Earth owes sustained life to Jupiter. It protects earth from large asteroids and meteors.

Other theories about how life began on Earth suggest that water, the key ingredient, was brought by comets, famously dubbed "dirty snowballs," which comprise ice and dust left from the building of the Solar System.

Jupiter is a fickle mistress. At other times, it has bombarded the inner solar system with projectiles rather than protected it.

It's fucked up how science classes don't even teach the kids all of the planets anymore. All of the sudden, Pluto, Makemake, Ceres, Eris, and Haumea aren't even planets? And they only teach the one moon of Earth, nothing about Cruithne or any of the other bodies. They also teach Luna ("THE Moon") as a moon, and not the newer model of a binary-planet with Earth. It's all just so glossed over ... I get angry when I think about it, so I'm stopping now. :1orglaugh

If there's something you don't know it's logic.
