I opted not to live in a ghetto.

Ask your local fire dept. to open a hydrant for you.

Yeah, I don't have a fan but I like the idea. It would mean I need to buy 4 bottles of water as well.
What's wrong with just getting nekkid?

put a damp cool rag on your noggin. if your office chair is vinyl, put a damp towle on the back of it to lean back on.

i have a damaged vagus nerve, i sweat buckets when my heat rate changes even just a tiny bit, i break out into an instant full sweat, everything gets hotter than hell, even in a room that's 72 f+

I was gonna say the same thing.

Here in my house my home office is over the second garage - which is not insulated. It gets so hot here in the office that I have to freeze out the rest of the house just to keep cool. It gets so hot in here... That I set up a second office in my master bedroom that I use with a laptop.

That's cool dude. I am now sat here nekkid with a damp cool rag covering my noggin. I have a towel down my back.. My only concern is the damage it will do to the couch.

ring that towel out real good prior and the leather should be ok. as long as it's dyed properly. if not the towel will soak up some of the leather stain so be careful eh!

Sly 08-29-2013 04:05 PM

I would start out by putting the laptop on a table instead of on my lap.
