A question for all affiliates

Hi Affiliates,

We are about to release a white label version of LiveCamNetwork for affiliates and we want to make the product as good as possible. With that in mind, please chime-in with answers to these questions :

1. Control:
Are you an affiliate who likes to have complete control over all content (in this case, live chat models) that you want to promote? Or, do you prefer a super-simple "just give me a link and shut up" method?

2. Prices & Commissions:
If we offered you a way to control how much money you could make by setting your own prices and being able to change these prices anytime, instantly, is this something you would like? Or do you prefer to relinquish that control to make promotion easier?

3. Installation on your domain
If you had a white label do you want it installed on your domain (Cams.YourDomain.com), or do you prefer to send traffic directly to the site? (YourName.LiveCamNetwork.com)?

4. Promote your own models too?
Do you want the ability to add your own webcam models to the affiliate program? Or do you not like the idea? Maybe you just want to promote? And if you did want to add your own chat models, did you want to pay them directly or do you prefer that the service pays them for you?

The LiveCamNetwork whitelabel program will let you promote any chat models you like, set your own prices, have your look-and-feel, and do all of the above. It was brought to my attention though that some affiliates would be turned-off by having too many features. Personally, I think the more control, the better, but I'd prefer to hear back from experienced affiliate webmasters before making the final decision. You can post your comments and suggestions here or email them to me directly. My email address can be found at http://www.2much.net/contact.php.

Thanks in advance!

PS: We are also giving demos if anyone would like to have a look.

3. MyOwnCamDomain.com, not either of above offered.

I am interested in a demo - bnstraffic at gmail

1. I like to be able to link to any page of a site without restriction by just adding aff code. Too many sites make this virtually impossible.
I also like to be able to access content and promote any host I see. The available content should be freely available (again a lot of sites don't offer this)

2. Leave it to you

3. My domain only

4. Not interested although I can see how it would be useful to some.

#1. Yes you can do this already.

#2. Interesting. If we did this it could change your commissions by quite a bit. Would you prefer that if we were to manage it for you that we show you what we did and explain why? Or as an affiliate, do you not have the time or interest and prefer to just concentrate on promoting what is?

#3. Great.

#4. Great great. Thanks for the feedback!

I guess I could see how it could be useful but I think it could get confusing. I like to keep things simple.
If it's going to change my commissions, why not just set me on the higher rate anyway?

We do! But if you already have established sites, it wouldn't make sense to change your name server. Just add an a-record & 3rd level sub domain and nothing else has to change.

What we're hoping to do is let you set your own rate. For example, if you knew that your traffic was really high quality then the price could be more to reflect the higher commission rate you deserve. If however you had low quality traffic, you may want to try to covert that traffic by being more aggressive with pricing and lower your commission rate. The general thinking is that you know your traffic and customer base better than we do, so we want to give you the freedom to act on that information instantly.

I dunno, I think that some affiliates think that 1:1000 is good, I consider 1:50 good. Big difference, besides quality traffic is useless if the site doesn't convert.

How about choosing your own up sells. Do not know if you do have any up sells at all just an idea. So lets say you do have up sells it would be a nice option for the affiliate to choose what up sells are being promoted and getting a small cut from it as an extra added bonus to them.

1-clicks through the popular third party billers are key to me.

Hi Nexcom,

I agree, but as it would be a whilte label, you would be able to adjust the graphics, colors, logos, text and look-and-feel to increase the conversion rate as much as possible.

That sounds like a good idea but we wouldn't be able to support it unless you added your own upsells. Rest assured though that we will have zero upsells on your white label.

If you mean 1-click rebills while customers are chatting to models without having to re-enter their payment info, You've got it! (At least, you will as of next week).

Nice idea Mark. I think you are on to a winner with this.
