Massive Yacht docked in front of my house

I guess it belongs to Russian Billionaire RomanAbramovich. When built it was the largest in the world - now #20.

Good point sailor sperber. How's the family?

pornguy 09-04-2013 08:48 AM

We were at Bayside mall one day having lunch and the Enterprise pulled into the marina there. That captain was something to watch because he got that thing in and out without an issue and the boat was actually tooooo big for the marina.

Fantastic. My son just turned two on the 2nd and we had a little party for him poolside with about 6 other kids. The weekend before we were in Colorado visiting my sister and her baby daughters, 4, 3 and 1.5, and had a totally awesome time..... so he has had a really rockin' last couple of weeks... (and lets face it, when he is having a blast, I'm having a blast.... :pimp:):1orglaugh)

There was a small boat crash when I lived there in 2007. I recall it sat in the ocean for a few weeks half sunk before they got it out.

KRosh 09-04-2013 02:43 PM

It's been reported that was the "Serene"

http://www.charterworld.com/news/tag/serene

Boating publications say the $330 million yacht is owned by Russian vodka titan Yuri Scheffler.

That one was anchored here a few months ago. It was very pretty - multi colored lights on each level.

This one is definitely Luna - he is anchored close enough to read the name and see the .000000001% lounging at the pool on the back (port, aft, ???).

SilentKnight 09-04-2013 04:12 PM

Call the Coast Guard and complain they're blocking your view of the horizon.

Or chum the water around the boat with fish guts...let the sharks dissuade them from hanging around long.

InfoGuy 09-05-2013 11:36 AM

Yacht was already in the Marina on Tuesday.

Hinanos rocks! 2 blocks from me. They use frozen patties but honestly its one of the best no frills burgers in LA. And their beer is always ice cold. Live music on Friday's.

cool, i saw the "luna" a few months ago in san diego getting cleaned, across from the http://www.midway.org/visitors , nice yacht for sure

Sunny Day 09-06-2013 01:05 AM

They're not boats

I'm from fucking Kansas and I know this. They're not boats they are ships. Boats are those damn things with oars or submarines.
Big things on the water are ships not boats.

By the way, the Coast Guard has two docks in Kansas. One one the Missouri River as a navigational waterway. The other at USDB-Leavenworth where every service is required to hold their own.
