Things aren't what they used to be financially for a lot of us here, especially for those of us who never had or cared for a "backup plan".

So what is a guy to do who is basically unemployable in "the real world" and whose future is based on nothing more than a gamble on the "next big thing"?

Dating takes time and money. What?s a hard-working, single man to do?

Spoken from experience, if a girl really likes you, the money thing shouldn't matter too much. Don't let your financial situation hold you down, ask girls out and be upfront about your situation before they say yes. Not like, "Hey I'm broke, want to date me?" but more like, I'd love to take you out but I don't have a lot to offer besides my good looks and charming personality.":winkwink:

When you find a girl that you want to invest time in, there are a lot of things you can do that won't break the bank. Check out sites like LivingSocial or similar groupon type sites for inexpensive fun. There is also going to the beach, cooking together + movie nights on netflix, and your community may have events that are open to the public. They have live music in the park on Friday evenings here where you can bring your own food, like a picnic.
