The original movie was pretty good, and the Stargate shows have what - 10 seasons or something like that? It's a pretty popular franchise.

There was Stargate SG1 for 10 seasons and a few movies
Stargate Atlantis for several seasons
Stargate Universe which I never really liked that didn't do very well.

I would barely call it pretty good. Mark I saw a good sci-fi movie called Europa Report last night. You should watch it.

Most cable OnDemand systems have it available.

If it's got Richard Dean Anderson and Amanda Tapping (naked preferably) I'll watch em. The original stargate movie wasn't so great but the tv shows with good characters I loved.
