isn't this all too familiar to the iraq weapons of mass destruction? even if the syrian chemical weapons are the iraqi weapons of mass destruction, how could they be a threat to the united states for so long without, until now, them being used on the syrian people? and the united states is only going to do something about it now? for how long has the united states government known they are a threat to them?

i think i just love how that associated press article was structured.

the headline originally reads the united states government is having some strong opposition to a "strike" or a war, but then half way down the page its like john kerry honestly says oh yeah the weapons are a threat to the united states of america as if it isn't even important enough to emphasis further.

that is just unbelievable.

So are the ones the US sold to places like Iraq and then told the world they knew they had "Weapons of mass discruction". The US has both nukes and Chemical weapons on hand. Just because they haven't used them doesn't make it any different.

you mean to tell me the associated press decided to get a reporter to make up a new story about syria and it is for the most part about american's opposing any military action over there? but then these two tinsy winsy paragraphs nearer the end of the report kerry has the smoking gun right then and there by saying in that same article that the weapons are a threat to the united states homeland? am i understanding this correctly?

seriously, i suppose i wouldn't want to be in any well-populated metro area of the united states right now, because that should be cause for a lot of alarm and it has been condensed down in to a oh yeah by the way. :1orglaugh

i have actually seen that movie and i didn't particularly enjoy it.

Apparently, freedom is a threat to the USA now.

Al-Quaeda and Al-Nusra terrorists in Syria who lead the opposition have chemical weapons too and they use it in Aleppo (big city in the north of Syria), but apparently those people are not threat to US government now
