Time to buy stock in Tivo maybe ?
 

just got uverse again here the dvr wont record showtime and wont record stars

whats the point of a dvr if you cant record the best channels ?

might be looking to get a tivo :2 cents::2 cents:

Showtime is CBS. Time Warner Cable had a video on Youtube with their VP of content and she said she was fighting them over CBS wanting TV set registrations and control of DVRs which could mean preventing recording and storage of programs etc.

a reason to buy stock in tivo there is nothing showtime can do to stop tivo recorders from recording shows.

be interesting to see if that is true or not. TiVo uses cablecard which has to obey the video flags

I really want to ditch our Comcast DVR because it's awful but can't decide between the new Tivos or rolling my own with media center.

By the way. Tivo does not work with AT&T Uverse
