As a cam program we would advise to make youtube videos with links in comment or so,, we see lots signups from youtube videos (is breach of youtube TOS but well...). I told this in GFY a year ago and people said I had disclosed the biggest secret of my affiliates :)

yes its a location thing, the amount of views may also have something to do with it's serp position.
