My very first adult site, quick advice?

I'm just about to start my very first adult site, I know I'm in the right place to ask such questions but I hoped any of you with experience could offer me some quick advice.

Let me tell you what I'm thinking of doing and you could perhaps pick me up on it along the way maybe...

Single model site, the usual wares proffered in terms of pictures & video, booty site, extraordinary curves on a female friend of mine and we're gonna start shooting stuff next week, now I've got a decade of 'webmaster' experience behind me as I started an 'adult' (ish) site in 2002 and it's actually still going (just) and it's basically a community based site where I just do all the tech-stuff behind the scenes to keep it all running smoothly etc...

I'll be using that experience in due course I'm sure, but I want to create this new site as best as I can and as simply as possible, I'm in the UK but i'll be using American hosting etc... please advise me on hosting if possible, nothing too expensive as we won't be a 'porn' site as such... no 'Rolf Harris Eating a Banana' shots... But I was thinking about using 'wordpress' as a base, moreover something called AdultSiteCMS-Pro (the new Pro version) looks a bit new and unfinished as the moment but that's my kinda budget for such things and of course i'll cash in a few favors with some other webmaster friends of mine to kick start the project with links etc...

So if you have any advice on hosting thanks very much also should I use this boil-in-the-bag software? or just use wordpress and some choice plugins? I'm a bit green.. I'm learning and gathering info as I go... but hopefully trying to make a good go of it first time... any other advice gratefully received, thanks.

The scripts you choose determine the hosting requirements. My advice is don't sell your content to other sites unless you want it everywhere and do a lot more reading as the questions you ask have all been answered before.

My advice is that as far as content goes you lock it up well and only use teaser not full non/action content to lure in your members. There is enough content on the web for those who what to see free full nude action content. You need to have content that makes people want to see more and you do that by having good content and not giving away everything.

Most software will work on most decent hosts, how every never go with an unlimited plan. They cap your resources that your script needs to handle the traffic. using wordpress is a good and cheap start. You don't have to spend tons of money on your site. If you content is good and your traffic is targeted you will see the cash coming. At that point you can start looking at upgrading your site.
