It's official, obamacare is a complete waste, for me anyway

I was finally able to get the site work tonight. After filling out all of the info and making an estimate of my income after deductions I was referred to my states medicare program. There are several problems with this. One is I don't qualify for regular medicare and second even if I did the category I might qualify for being a small business plan has been closed for enrollment since pretty much it's inception. Since I apparently can't even change my income on the site (which would mean putting myself into a higher tax bracket and in turn higher taxes) I'm pretty much stuck with either paying the fines and going without insurance, or seeking it privately (which is costly), or setting up a business (which costs me money to do) just so I can go through SHOP.

Well, you better figure something out and get with the program. Who cares if it costs more; you can afford it.
Do not try to be responsible for your own health... What're ya crazy?
The government knows what's best for you; Now get with it! :thumbsup

Oh and BTW they are checking your credit report.. The only way they could know some of my information is by doing so.

If your identity information doesnt match up with your Experien credit report, they kick it back.

Oddly enough someone may already being doing that after going through the process tonight. One of the questions informed me that I once lived on a street I've never lived on. Next up is checking my credit report I guess.

2 of the 3 credit reporting agencies have my information wrong as well. They list me as 12 years older and living in a different zip code (1 number off). Oddly enough, Intellius has the same exact incorrect info.

This should be fun :Oh crap

Good Luck getting anything erroneous corrected.

So blame the Tennessee government that didn't expand Medicare since you fall inbetween Medicare and obamacare. Also you should have a business already for numerous reasons, stop blaming Obama for your short comings

Don't you worry when I'm done setting up multiple businesses for my various ventures not only will you be paying for my healthcare but I'll put myself into the welfare and foodstamp category. Congratulations, you win. Socialism here I come.

Fine with me, that is what these programs are for. Create a safety net to keep you at minimum standards while you work your way out to success.

Like Paul Ryan - http://www.truth-out.org/buzzflash/c...-it-on-his-own

Quote:

Rep. Paul Ryan, the GOP?s most outspoken advocate for cutting and privatizing Social Security, has already benefited from Social Security himself, in the form of survivor benefits he received after his father?s untimely death.

From the age of 16, when his 55-year-old father died of a heart attack, until he was 18, Ryan received Social Security payments, which, according to a lengthy profile in WI Magazine, he put away for college. The eventual budget czar attended Miami University in Ohio to earn a B.A. in economics and political science, and landed a congressional internship as a junior.

Ryan?s congressional ascent, all the way to the top spot on the Budget Committee, began with his Social Security-funded college education.
